Description
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) volunteer their time to advocate for the Best Interests of the Child(ren) of their community involved in the Child Welfare System. Advocates visit children monthly and gather information from the various people and professionals involved in their lives. The child’s voice and the obtained first-hand information is included in the CASA’s report filed for each hearing. CASA reports provide the judge additional information to consider when they are making decisions that impact the child’s life.
